Terms of Service

Important Note:
These Terms of Service are provided in English for reference purposes only. In the event of any conflict or inconsistency between the English version and the Japanese version, the Japanese version shall prevail.

These Terms of Service (hereinafter referred to as the “Terms”) define the conditions for using the services (hereinafter referred to as the “Service”) provided on https://plathlo.com by the operator (hereinafter referred to as the “Operator”). All users (hereinafter referred to as “Users”) shall use the Service only after agreeing to these Terms.

1. Scope of the Terms

These Terms aim to set forth the conditions for the provision of the Service and define the rights and obligations between the Operator and the Users. These Terms shall apply to all relationships related to the use of the Service.

2. Eligibility

The Service is available only to individuals who meet all of the following conditions:

  1. Those who agree to and can comply with these Terms.
  2. Those who have not previously violated these Terms.

3. Prohibited Acts

When using the Service, Users shall not engage in any of the following acts:

  1. Acts that violate laws or public order and morals.
  2. Criminal acts or acts that encourage criminal activities.
  3. Impersonating another person.
  4. Collecting or misusing the personal information of others.
  5. Excessive posting of automatically generated content.
  6. Placing an excessive load on the system of the Service.
  7. Interfering with the provision of the Service.
  8. Accessing the API in ways not facilitated by the Service’s functionality.
  9. Infringing the intellectual property rights, portrait rights, or privacy of others.
  10. Posting excessively violent, discriminatory, or otherwise inappropriate expressions.
  11. Acts aimed at meeting or dating individuals of the opposite sex with whom one is unacquainted.
  12. Religious activities or solicitation.
  13. Any other act deemed inappropriate by the Operator.

If any of the above acts are confirmed, the Operator may delete the relevant posts or suspend or delete the User’s account.

4. Intellectual Property Rights

  1. Users may only post content over which they hold rights such as copyrights or for which they have obtained the necessary permissions.
  2. Copyrights related to User-posted content belong to the User or the rightful owner.
  3. The Operator shall have the right to display and distribute User-posted content within the Service.
  4. Neither Users nor third parties may reproduce or redistribute User content without permission from the Operator.

5. Management of Authentication Information

Users are responsible for properly managing their account authentication information. The Operator bears no responsibility for any damages incurred due to use of such authentication information by a third party.

6. Advertising

The Operator may display third-party advertisements on the Service.

7. Withdrawal

Users may delete their account following the prescribed procedure. After withdrawal, Users will no longer have access to their posted content or account information. No refunds will be provided for any fees already paid.

8. Changes and Suspension of Services

The Operator may, without prior notice to Users, change or suspend the content of the Service. The Operator assumes no responsibility for any damages arising from such changes or suspension.

9. Disclaimer

  1. The Operator does not guarantee that the Service is safe, accurate, or appropriate.
  2. The Operator assumes no responsibility for any damages incurred by Users. However, this does not apply in cases where liability cannot be excluded under the Consumer Contract Act.

10. Changes to the Terms

The Operator may change these Terms without prior notice to Users. The revised Terms will become effective when posted on the Service.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Japan. Any disputes related to the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court as the court of first instance.
